FAQ

  • The Case Writing Academy is an intensive program designed to teach participants how to write compelling case studies. It focuses on the case method and case teaching, with a special emphasis on developing Armenia-focused case studies.

  • The program is open to faculty members and staff from all disciplines. Participants are required to have intermediate to advanced English language proficiency and must attend all three sessions.

  • Participants must complete assigned readings of several case studies and an exercise, which should be finished 10 days before the workshop begins.

    • Session 1: Introduction to case method principles, guidance on the case writing process, strategic choices in case development, and assistance in writing a case outline.
    • Session 2: Hands-on crafting of your own case study, with a focus on engaging introductions and conclusions, and development of teaching plans.
    • Session 3: Review and critique of case studies, and an open Q&A session.
  • Participants will gain a solid foundation in case study writing and teaching, develop a draft of their own Armenia-focused case study, and receive a certificate upon completion.

  • The workshop will be conducted online, and a Zoom link will be provided to all registered participants.

  • The workshop is free for all participants.

  • Applications are open until June 30th. Successful candidates will be notified by July 2nd. The program is limited to 25 participants to ensure a quality experience.
