Case Writing Academy is an intensive program designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to write compelling case studies. This workshop is ideal for faculty and staff from various disciplines who are interested in learning about the case method and case teaching, and who wish to develop their own Armenia-focused case studies.

About The Trainer

An associate professor at SDA Bocconi, Ulf is a seasoned educator and strategist with a PhD in moral disengagement. He’s taught globally, contributed to executive education at ESMT Berlin, and is recognized for his award-winning case studies on organizational behavior.

The Case Writing Academy is an intensive program designed to teach participants how to write compelling case studies. It focuses on the case method and case teaching, with a special emphasis on developing Armenia-focused case studies.

The program is open to faculty members and staff from all disciplines. Participants are required to have intermediate to advanced English language proficiency and must attend all three sessions.

Participants must complete assigned readings of several case studies and an exercise, which should be finished 10 days before the workshop begins.

- Session 1: Introduction to case method principles, guidance on the case writing process, strategic choices in case development, and assistance in writing a case outline.
- Session 2: Hands-on crafting of your own case study, with a focus on engaging introductions and conclusions, and development of teaching plans.
- Session 3: Review and critique of case studies, and an open Q&A session.

Participants will gain a solid foundation in case study writing and teaching, develop a draft of their own Armenia-focused case study, and receive a certificate upon completion.

The workshop will be conducted online, and a Zoom link will be provided to all registered participants.

Applications are open until June 30th. Successful candidates will be notified by July 2nd. The program is limited to 25 participants to ensure a quality experience.
