CaseKey International Case Competition (CICC) 2026 brings together outstanding university teams from around the world to solve complex, real-world business and policy challenges in a unique multi-location format across Armenia. The competition combines academic rigor, strategic problem-solving, and cultural immersion, hosted in partnership with the Central Bank of Armenia.

About the Competition
The CaseKey International Case Competition is designed for high-performing undergraduate and recently graduated students with a strong interest in business strategy, finance, economics, and decision-making. Organized by CaseKey Academy, the leading case-based education platforms in the region, the competition challenges participants to work under pressure, think critically, and present structured, data-driven solutions to real-world problems.

Competition Format
The competition hosts 1 teams, divided into divisions of 4 teams each. Teams will solve three cases over the course of the competition.

Case 1 – Pre-Case (Off-site)
- Case materials will be released two weeks before the competition
- Teams will have one week to analyze and prepare their solutions
- Presentations will take place on September 21, 2026, in Yerevan

Case 2 – On-Site Short Case
- Case duration: 6 hours
- Format: Live case solving followed by presentations
- Focus: speed, clarity of thinking, teamwork, and prioritization

Case 3 – On-Site Long Case
- Case duration: 16 hours
- Format: Extended case solving followed by final presentations
- Focus: depth of analysis, feasibility, creativity, and storytelling

The capital city of Armenia, Yerevan will host the opening of the competition and the pre-case presentations. Participants will experience the city’s academic, cultural, and social atmosphere through organized events and activities.

Registration Fee: USD 4,500 per team

The competition will take place from September 20 to September 27, 2026, across Yerevan, Armenia.

The competition is organized by CaseKey Academy, in partnership with the Central Bank of Armenia.

The competition is open to:
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, and
- Recent graduates who completed their undergraduate degree in 2026.
Students who graduated before 2026 are not eligible.

Each team consists of:
- Four (4) students, and
- One (1) or two (2) university advisors

A total of 12 teams will participate in the competition.

Teams are divided into four divisions, with four teams in each division. The competition consists of three cases, including divisional rounds and finals.

Teams will solve three cases:
- One pre-case completed before arrival
- One on-site short case / 6 hours
- One on-site long case / 16 hours

The pre-case will be released two weeks before the competition. Teams will have one week to prepare their solutions and will present them during the competition in Yerevan.

The registration fee includes accommodation for the full duration of the competition, local transportation during the event, most meals, participation in all competition rounds, access to all competition venues and facilities, and the organized social and cultural program.
The registration fee does not include international flights, visa fees, or personal expenses.

In Yerevan, student participants will be accommodated in a hotel with two students per room, while university advisors will stay in separate single rooms at a hotel located in the city center. The exact hotel details will be announced closer to the event.

Visa requirements depend on each participant’s nationality. Teams are responsible for checking visa requirements and obtaining the necessary travel documents.
Official invitation letters can be provided to confirmed teams to support visa applications.
